GAINUP is an AI-powered fitness tracking application that helps you build better habits, track workouts, and reach your health goals. This Privacy Policy applies to the GAINUP mobile app and website at gainup.info.

02 Information We Collect
We only collect what's necessary to deliver a personalized fitness experience.
Email and display name for your account. With Google Sign-In, we receive only your email and name — no passwords stored by us.
Height, weight, goals, experience level, and training preferences — used solely to personalize your plans.
Optional photos you choose to upload. AI-analyzed to detect changes over time. Stored securely, never shared.
Meals, food items, calories, and macro info you log manually or scan via camera.
Exercises, sets, reps, weights, and completion records to track progress and generate recommendations.
Anonymous app usage patterns and crash logs to improve performance. No personally identifiable information included.
03 How We Use Your Information
- To provide and personalize your workout and nutrition plans
- To track and display your fitness progress over time
- To power AI-based meal scanning and coaching recommendations
- To send workout reminders (only if you enable notifications)
- To manage your subscription and purchases via RevenueCat
- To improve app performance using anonymous analytics
- To respond to your support requests
We do not use your data for advertising and we never sell your personal information.
04 Third-Party Services
We use the following trusted services to operate GAINUP:
Secure database and authentication. Your data is stored encrypted on Supabase servers.
Optional authentication. We only receive your email and display name.
Subscription management. Payment details handled by Apple — we never see your card info.
AI meal analysis and coaching. Only non-identifiable food data is sent for processing.
We never sell your data to any third party.
05 Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on Supabase's secure infrastructure with:
- Encryption in transit using HTTPS/TLS
- Encryption at rest using AES-256
- Progress photos in private, access-controlled storage buckets
- Secure authentication token management
- Regular security audits and dependency updates
06 Your Rights
You have full control over your personal data:
- Access — Request a copy of all data we hold about you
- Correct — Update or correct any inaccurate personal data
- Delete — Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Export — Receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format
- Withdraw consent — Opt out of optional data processing at any time
- Restrict processing — Limit how we use your data

07 Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data — including progress photos, workout history, and nutrition logs — is permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymous analytics data may be retained for up to 12 months.
08 Children's Privacy
GAINUP is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us at support@gainup.info and we will delete it immediately.
09 Policy Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date and notify you through the app for significant changes. Continued use of GAINUP after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
